Colette Tracy

Colette has over 20 years of business development and sales management experience. Her range of experience spans distribution, manufacturing, retail, wholesale, and non-profit.

Her Bachelor's degree is from DePaul University from The School for New Learning with an emphasis in Marketing and Communication. She additionally holds a Master's in Organizational Leadership from Lewis University with a major in training and development, and is in the thesis stage of finishing a Master's in Psychology from National Louis University of Chicago. She is also a certified Life and Career coach and has conducted workshops on women's leadership and empowerment.

Eileen Brewer
Director, Security Appliance Team, Symantec, USA

With two decades of technology industry experience, Eileen leads the Security Appliance team for Symantec. Eileen develops the synergy between solving business issues and negotiating the impossible with a mission to execute and transform. She has most recently led the OEM manufacturing project for the newest Symantec products.

Eileen works to empower women and girls globally in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). She is involved with three organizations that leverage technology and mentorship programs to encourage female empowerment and career development for women in Africa, Central Asia, and the Middle East: theTechWomen Program, Women’s Alliance for Knowledge Exchange (WAKE), and GirlHype South Africa.

She created "Motherboards Basics" and travels around the world with old motherboards stuffed in her suitcase to teach hundreds of young girls about computer components in an easy to learn and fun method. This reduces their fear and increases their confidence.

Marjorie Abdelkrime

Marjorie Abdelkrime is a believer of "Starting with Why", she wants to make a change in the world.

An outspoken leader in the world of empowering women and from both a Muslim and Latino background, Marjorie empowers women both in leadership and technology.

She is a Business Technology Leader with 15 years experience managing and growing software sales, consulting businesses, service solution design and customer service excellence by leveraging technology solutions to resolve business problems. She leads an organization of 70 exceptional Consultants that span North and South America. Their goal as an organization is to help our customers realize the potential of the solutions they acquire.   

At Veritas she co-leads the women empowerment initiatives - Women at Veritas Empowered (WAVE). The Virtual WAVE Chapter is comprised of women and men who volunteer their time and talent to work at helping to increase the number of women in leadership, sales and technical roles, and to build an environment that is inclusive and supportive of women in achieving their career goals.

Susan Altman
Vice President, Global Sales, BCD Travel, USA

Susan is a respected sales executive in the global travel management arena, where she leads organizational priorities to establish new growth with companies in the global Fortune 200. In her role, she fosters strategic relationships with leaders of large organizations and engages in business to business sales processes. Her history in sales, operations and account management spans the past 30 years, working for prestigious companies, such as American Express, Navigant, and now BCD Travel, where she heads up global sales.

Susan is an accomplished ballerina turned ballet teacher in her personal time. She lives in the Chicagoland area with two beautiful daughters, Madison (7) and Alyssa (13), who are the main focus of her world and create the passion for what she does.

Justine Fedak
Senior Vice President and Head of Brand, Advertising and Sponsorships, BMO Financial Group, North America

Justine is the Senior Vice President and Head of Brand, Advertising and Sponsorships for BMO Financial Group, North America. In this role, she is responsible for brand strategy and advertising across North America and all sponsorships for the BMO Financial Group. She joined BMO Financial Group in 1992 in Public Affairs, working in Media Relations, and has worked across Corporate Sponsorships, Corporate Marketing, Wealth Management Marketing, Capital Markets Marketing, Retail and Commercial Banking Marketing and Communications.

After being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2001, Justine worked hard to recover her mobility in order to train for and run a half marathon in 2009. Although she is no longer able to run, she continues to be an advocate for healthy living. She is a regular speaker across the US and Canada at Marketing, Branding and Communications conferences; and she is often called upon by the media to speak about living with MS.

Justine has a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Toronto, an MBA from Dalhousie University and received the university’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015. She is a member of the Board of Directors of The Magnificent Mile Association, Gilda’s Club Chicago, Access Living, and Chicago Police Foundation; and sits on the Advisory Board of the Leadership Institute for People with Disabilities ADA 25 Chicago. She is on the Executive Committee of the Chicago Sports Commission and serves as Chairperson to the Municipal Marketing Advisory Council for the City of Chicago.

Kelly Smith
Senior Integrated Marketing Manager – Brand Development, Ulta Beauty, USA

Kelly is a 36-year-old mother of two, a wife, a runner and works full-time at Ulta Beauty as a Senior Integrated Marketing Manager – Brand Development.

Recently, Kelly also became a college graduate with a BA in Marketing, having not followed the traditional route of attending and graduating college immediately after high-school. Instead, she decided to return to college at the ripe old age of 34, while also training to run her first marathon. Not only was Kelly able to finish this in under 5 hours, but she also finished her degree within two years and graduated in June 2015.

This determination and passion also goes into Kelly’s work as a marketer and as a leader; so much so that she recently received a promotion within Ulta Beauty. This perseverance and dedication has not always been easy, but it has enabled her to teach her six-year-old and four-year-old children to understand what it means not to quit, to never say the word “can’t” and to strive for a happy and healthy lifestyle. Kelly’s children are her world and her reason to constantly strive for success.

Joy Avery brings 19 years of business experience to the Chicago Gaines office where she is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the firm (infrastructure, processes and people) to ensure the firm fulfills its primary purpose, mission and successfully executes its strategy.

A boomerang to Gaines, Joy is passionate about the purpose driven and relationship driven culture of Allen Austin | Gaines International. Mick Slattery

As President of North America, Mick is responsible for guiding the sales, delivery and operations of Avanade's largest business. Working closely with the United States and Canada leadership team, Mick ensures consistent, high-quality results for Avanade's North American clients.

Mick has been part of Avanade’s leadership team since its formation in 2000, serving in a variety of leadership roles. Most recently, he led the strategic investment and joint development of hybrid cloud solutions on behalf of Avanade, Accenture and Microsoft. Previously, Mick drove Avanade’s solution and managed services go-to-market efforts, led the implementation of Avanade’s global service line organization, oversaw Avanade’s global delivery investments and drove the growth of Avanade’s global delivery network.

A seasoned leader with more than 25 years of consulting experience, Mick came to Avanade following a decade at Andersen Consulting (Accenture), where he was both a strategy and technology advisor helping clients in the United States, Europe and Asia.

Dr Sam Collins

Sam founded Aspire in 2001 when she was just 30 years old and it is now a globally sought-after organization that enables women leaders to thrive through leadership development, coaching and events. The Aspire Foundation, the not-for-profit arm launched in 2010, is integral to Aspire’s way of doing business. Its pro-bono mentoring program works in 80 countries and has already made a positive difference to the lives of over 9 million women and girls across the world.

Cheryl McKinney
VP Strategy and Portfolio, BP Fuels, North America

As a member of the leadership team of one of BP’s largest Refining and Marketing businesses, Cheryl is accountable for Strategy, Investment, and Business Development across North America.

Her remit includes the BP refineries in Toledo, Ohio, Whiting, Indiana, and Bellingham, Washington, as well as the BP US Pipelines business, and the BP North American Sales and Marketing businesses, which carry both the BP and Arco/ampm brands. She serves on the governance committee for the BP-Husky joint venture at the Toledo Refinery and represents BP on the American Petroleum Institute Subcommittee on Oil Sands.

Cheryl also serves as Executive Sponsor for BP’s corporate relationship with the Society of Women Engineers, and the BP Chicago Women’s business resource group.

She supports the University of Akron as a member of the Presidential Advisory Council and is a member of the of Akron’s Women in Engineering Industry Advisory Council.

James Poindexter III
Speaker & Trainer, National Youth Advocate Program and JH Brands, USA

James was born in Bronx NY but raised in West Virginia. He was abandoned at the age of 10yrs old by his biological family and from 10-15yrs old, he moved 21 times.

Despite a turbulent childhood, he became a World Martial Arts Champion and is now a motivational speaker and business owner. He is a husband and father of a little girl.

James credits his success to 3 strong and inspiring women in his life and would like to share their story. He is passionate about raising the awareness of women in society and their role as mentors and role models for children, particularly those in the foster care system.

Nasreen Sheikh
President, Local Women’s Handicrafts, Nepal

Nasreen is approximately 25 years old – she does not know her real birthdate. She grew up in a very corrupt and conservative village in the northern state of Bihar, India where women have absolutely no rights. She left her village when she was around 12 years old and moved to Kathmandu, Nepal, where at a very early age she started to learn different handicraft skills. She was a child laborer in a sweat shop producing goods for export for few years. Her family started to arrange her marriage when she was around 18. Nasreen was able to escape from this forced marriage with the help of her teacher and friends.

She has spent years working and putting her focus on the women who needed help most and has been continuously working to educate as many women as possible. Nasreen opened a store in Nepal called Local Women’s Handicrafts and started building a training center for women in 2014. The work of Local Women’s Handicrafts has been written about in many different publications such as Forbes, the Huffington Post and Cosmopolitan. Nasreen’s dream is to bring peace and love to our world.

Nicole McCabe
Senior Director of Global Diversity & Inclusion SAP, USA

Nicole McCabe is a Senior Director of Global Diversity & Inclusion at the global corporation, SAP, responsible for the creation and execution of innovative programs that support gender diversity, and SAP’s overall target of 25% women in leadership by 2017. Nicole prides herself in being a connector, a strong collaborator and in her ability to deliver results to the business without having direct authority.

Nicole has had a very unconventional career that leveraged her transferable skills. This has enabled her to gain experience in many aspects of business, from technical implementations, to managing post-acquisition integration, to account management, and Marketing technical services. Through her experience she observed the challenges many women face in the workplace, and her passion to drive impact and create a culture where everyone feels they are valued was sparked. In 2012, Nicole joined the Global Diversity & Inclusion team where she has gathered expertise in Human Resources, and has established a strong of the inter-dependencies between the employees and the business strategy.

The result – Nicole’s programs have been recognized inside and outside of SAP, including an ongoing Women’s Professional Growth webinar series, focused on topics related to the development of women. This series has had over 6800 participants in 2 years, at a cost of les than 5 Euros per participant. Nicole is also the creator and manager of the Women@SAP Jam, site which serves as an online community to communicate SAP’s programs and enables women to connect. The community currently has over 8,500 members.

Julie Chakraverty
Founder of Rungway and Non-Executive Director at Aberdeen Asset Management, UK

Julie Chakraverty is the founder of rungway, a new mentoring app recognized by Forbes Magazine where anyone can offer and receive advice about work life challenges. She also serves as a non-executive director for Aberdeen Asset Management where she is Chairman of the Innovation Committee and for the insurance company, Amlin, where she is Chairman of the Remuneration Committee. Additionally, she is a Trustee for the Girls Day School Trust in the UK.

During her executive career Julie was a Board Member of UBS Investment Bank where she held a number of global leadership positions. She chaired the UBS Women’s Network, “All Bar None” and won industry awards for innovation every year between 2001-2009 for her “CreditDelta” portfolio product.

In 2006 she was named in Management Today’s ‘Top 35 Women Under 35’. In 2013 she was recognized in The Times newspaper as the youngest female director of a FTSE-100 company, aged 41.

Linda Cruse
International Aid Worker, Author and Senior Fellow, College of Business and Law, University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand

Linda Cruse is the ultimate inspirational speaker hell bent on changing the world forever. She is an author, social entrepreneur and Senior Fellow and Entrepreneur in Residence in the College of Business and Law at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Linda will share her story of how she went from being a single mom to being an aid worker on every continent in the world where she has assisted in some of the world’s most catastrophic natural disasters such as the Asian tsunami, the Pakistani earthquake and currently the aftermath of the Philippine typhoon, as well as aiding challenged communities worldwide.

Linda challenges business leaders to be a catalyst for change with great success. She uses the entrepreneurial skills and acumen of business leaders to assist in solving some of the world’s intractable problems. Linda has worked side by side with some of the worlds’ most influential figures including HH The Dalai Lama, HRH Prince Charles and Sir Richard Branson and companies including Nestle, Cadburys, Thai Beverage, KPMG, Manpower, Merrill Lynch, Deloitte, GSK, Continental Airlines, Wyeth, Abbott, Allied Dunbar and Hasbro. Linda has also worked alongside foundations such as The Prince of Wales International Business Leaders Forum, United Nations High Commission for Refugees, Virgin Unite, the World Bank and numerous local grass roots NGOs.

Vikki Leach

Vikki Leach is the Senior Director of Global Corporate Citizenship at Avanade Inc., a leading global technology firm and The Aspire Foundation’s Global Charity partner.

She is a senior professional with extensive experience in engaging business leaders and delivering cross country change programs in diversity and inclusion, culture and engagement, communications and corporate citizenship. Based in the UK, Vikki is currently responsible for Avanade’s Global Corporate Citizenship Approach.

Vikki has over 15 years of experience in the technology industry driving change programs with diverse and complex challenges, taking into consideration the local business needs and the company’s global vision, to produce diverse mixes of people with different backgrounds and experiences.  

Her passion in life is equality, both in her professional career and personal sporting career, and she believes everyone has a talent that can be unleashed in a supportive, inclusive and equal environment. Vikki knows teams that work together outperform those that don’t and that success feels better when it’s shared with others.

Jessica Jecmen
Managing Director, Accenture and the Executive Director of the Accenture Foundation, USA

Jessica is a Managing Director at global firm Accenture and the Executive Director of the Accenture Foundation. The Foundation exists to provide funding to enable Accenture communities in support of Accenture's Corporate Citizenship direction, creating a positive sustainable change in people's lives and contributing to the well-being of the broader community to help fulfill Accenture's vision to improve the way the world works and lives. In addition, Jessica leads Accenture Operation’s “beOperations” mindset change, a focus on changing the culture to one of caring, people first management and bringing your whole self to work.

Jessica received her BFA from Oklahoma City University and is based out of Chicago. She has two small children, Leo and Eva, and is an active participant and promoter of voluntarism in her community.

Sarah Kitakule
Director, The Kitakule Foundation, Uganda

Sarah is a strong advocate for women’s economic empowerment and girls’ education. Her recent professional life is centered on advocating for gender equality. She has been a board member of several women’s networks, has provided leadership to private sector associations and, most specifically, was the elected Chairperson of the Uganda Women Entrepreneurs Association for three years. She has mentored young professionals and her contribution was recognized when she was nominated for the British Council Woman Professional of the Year Award.

Sarah has over 25 years’ experience working with several international organisations: the World Bank/International Finance Corporation, United States Agency for International Development and the International Labor Organization.

She credits her success to her parents who believed in educating their girls in spite of opposition from friends and family. She is an aspiring entrepreneur who believes in not giving up in spite of the many obstacles. She has co-authored a book on the resilience of women entrepreneurs in Uganda titled ‘Above the Odds: A Decade of Change for Ugandan Women Entrepreneurs’.
